Programmed Energy & Resources are seeking a skilled and eager to learn General Earthworks Operator to join a leading Gold mine in WA's South. The General Earthworks Operator is responsible for safely operating a range of heavy mobile equipment to support earthmoving, road maintenance, construction and mining support activities across the operation
- Roster: 8/6 dayshift only
- 12 Hour shifts
- Rate: $46.61 per hour

About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Heavy Equipment Operation
- Operate earthmoving machinery such as loaders, dozers, graders, excavators, water carts and skid steers
- Conduct earthworks including road building, bund construction, drainage work and site preparation
- Assist with haul road maintenance and rehabilitation activities
- Work collaboratively with mining, maintenance and processing teams
- Assist with site clean-up, drainage management and stockpile management
- Support shutdown works and infrastructure projects as required
Equipment & Maintenance
- Perform basic servicing and equipment checks
- Maintain machinery in a clean and serviceable condition
- Report defects and coordinate with maintenance teams
Role Requirements
- Valid drivers license (HR desirable) and a reliable vehicle to get to and from site for each swing
- Full Australian working rights
- MUST have digger and loader experience
- Strong understanding of safe earthworks practices in a mining environment
- Ability to work in large open-pit mining operations
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow work plans, drawings and supervisor instructions
